The Spalding Memorial, by Charles Warren Spalding, originally published in 1897 (copyright 1896), is now 100 years old. In celebration of this Centennial anniversary, the Spalding Memorial has been republished in its entirety and is offered as a limited edition. Since the work of genealogist Charles Warren Spalding (an update to Samuel J. Spalding's work published in 1871), little information has been published on this surname. The last time an attempt was made to update this book was in the early 1930's by Hugh Merritt Spaulding. His efforts never came to fruition. We are requesting your help in completing this job by the year 2001.
Over the past few years, we have received thousands of updates. With the completion of the original publication, we can now proceed with the updates. We hope that all Spaldings*Spauldings will be represented in this publication. To help with this project, follow these steps:
